In 2010 my dear friend Bob Ellison followed his dream to become a harbour taxi operator. Feeling extremely apprehensive to go for an interview; he had lost a front tooth and was mortified to be interviewed in such a state. Imagine his joy when the interviewer shook his hand and gave him a big grin, missing the same tooth. So excited , he was over the moon happy to be hired. Sadly, Bob passed away in his sleep on his beloved boat soon after and never got his chance to shine as a ballerina! Celebrating the joy and kindness of Victoria I will think of Bob and his winning smile tonight!
